NIA Golf Day 2007

The 6th NIA Annual Golf Day

On the 2nd of November, the National Intelligence Agency hosted the 6th annual NIA Golf Day at the Woodhill Country Club in Pretoria.  This prestigious event, gave the NIA Director-General the opportunity to host an array of private business leaders and senior management of client departments, in the effort to develop strategic partnerships.

The theme of this special 6th NIA Annual Golf Day was “The Role of Intelligence”. It sought to emphasise the importance of the Intelligence institution, relaying that the NIA as an institution is successfully forging ahead on its mandate.  Our strategic intent is the creation of a professional, focused and skilled workforce, bound together by the common objective of improved client service and the timely delivery of authoritative intelligence products.

The programme spread over the whole day, with a stimulating 18-hole Golf Challenge by day and a refreshing dinner in the evening. The dinner incorporated an award giving ceremony and entertainment by the Soweto String Quartet.

It truly was a memorable event.  Our sincere appreciation to all our sponsors, whose generous contributions made this day possible.
