NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE AGENCY (NIA) BRINGS JOY TO CHILDREN OF EERSTERUST

On 1 December 2006 the fourth annual Christmas Party sponsored by the NIA as part of their community outreach project, Vukuzenzele, took place at the Eersterust Community Centre.   The NIA is delighted to once again add a bit of spark to the Eersterust children’s faces and to brighten up their day. Thanks to the generosity of the NIA members, the children each received a Christmas gift.

To make the day even more special, Babbelbox, a children’s theatre group, provided some entertainment.  As in the previous years Wimpy Wooldlands Boulevard ensured that a Power Meal be given to the children.

The NIA members have also ensured that 30 food parcels will be donated to the volunteers who work at the Eersterust Community Centre.

This function forms part of Vukuzenzele projects, which run throughout the year with initiatives to help alleviate poverty, and they include donations to shelters and individuals where a need is registered for donations.
