NIA and Business Against Crime

At BAC offices, on Thursday, 9 September 2004, the National Intelligence Agency and Business Against Crime signed a memorandum of understanding on future cooperation.

BAC was established in 1996 following a call from government, for business to assist in the fight against crime and provide stability for the community.

The parties will meet regularly to assess the effectiveness of the agreement, develop strategies and  identify joint initiatives.

Forging a partnership with key sectors of society is essential for building capacity in the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) - and for Business Against Crime (BAC) such collaboration could mean greater success in their private sector anti-crime initiatives.
Partnerships like these strive for a better South Africa.
